  • Material Character
    100% wool, hand-woven as kilim (flat-woven, without pile). The texture is clear and precise – small irregularities are signs of traditional handcraft, not defects.

    Origin & Manufacturing
    Woven in the Siirt region, Turkey, by Mecbure's former students. Mecbure comes from Mardin and has trained many women over the years who continue the craft today. Their shared experience and precision characterize each piece.

    Tradition
    The Tree of Life is one of the classic motifs of the Siirt weaving tradition. The small leaves, branches, and blossoms are traditional elements of the region.

    Care
    Vacuum regularly with a dry vacuum cleaner, preferably with a brush attachment. Carefully dab stains with a slightly damp cloth – do not rub. For heavier soiling, professional carpet cleaning is recommended. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods to protect colors.
