What does sustainability mean for you specifically?
We speak personally with the designers and brands whose products we include, and we take a close look at the processes behind them. Each product is assessed individually. Sometimes there are clear certifications like Cradle to Cradle – these are often found with larger, established companies. For smaller labels, however, we pay more attention to other criteria: locality, transparent supply chains, innovative designs, or particularly durable materials. This creates a diverse mix of sustainable solutions, all of which have one thing in common: they are valuable and here to stay.
How do you ensure that the products are truly sustainable?
We curate very carefully and provide you with detailed information on each product – on materials, manufacturing processes, recyclability, and much more. Every person has their own understanding of sustainability, so we try to present everything as transparently as possible for you. In addition, we introduce the brands themselves so that you can get a feel for the people and ideas behind the products.
How are the products shipped?
Depending on their size, orders are shipped as parcels or by freight forwarder. As a rule, your products are sent directly from the manufacturer to you to avoid unnecessary shipping routes. In individual cases, we will ship the goods ourselves.
Do you also sell to B2B customers?
Yes! If you need larger quantities, please contact us by email. If your project is more extensive than just procuring goods, feel free to visit the designdirektive website. There, we offer holistic solutions ranging from deconstruction to sustainable furnishing and custom carpentry.
Can I return items?
We want to keep returns to a minimum – because every return means additional transport routes and thus resource consumption. However, if it does become necessary to return goods, the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days naturally also applies here.
