Organic Jute– The material comes from a single crop and is processed under controlled conditions.
Vegetable Dyeing– The dyeing is done with vegetable dyes, without synthetic additives.
Monomaterial– The rug consists exclusively of jute, without mixed fibers or backing materials.
Directional and Spaced Knotting– The knots are set in an open, directional structure, which makes the tread softer.
Material Character
Jute is a natural plant fiber with an earthy, slightly rough texture and a natural sheen. The fiber is durable and dimensionally stable.
Knotting Structure
The knots are worked in a directed and spaced structure. This makes the surface softer and pleasant to walk on barefoot.
Care
Regular vacuuming with a brush attachment keeps the rug clean. Liquids should be blotted immediately with a dry cloth – do not rub. Stubborn stains can be treated with a little mild soap on a damp cloth, then blotted dry. Steam cleaning, shampooing, or soaking should be avoided, as jute is sensitive to moisture. The rug should be used in a low-humidity environment.
